Point & Shoot 2022: 55-hour Short Film Challenge

nuSTUDIOS Film Productions

Organised by nuSTUDIOS Film Productions, POINT & SHOOT  is a wholly student-run student film competition in Singapore, and it’s back for its 5th year! Students get to undertake a “guerilla-styled” filmmaking challenge, where they must plan, shoot, edit, and submit the best short film in less than 55 hours upon the release of a given theme.

#

First conceived in 2012 as a short film competition amongst only the NUS community, it has since then opened its reach to youths of Singapore, thus providing a brand-new avenue for any young filmmaking enthusiasts to express themselves. Over the years, following a cessation of outstanding entries, POINT & SHOOT has expanded in its scope, and we are anticipating even bigger, better, bolder works of art.

The competition is open to all youths in post-secondary education institutes, and no entry fee is needed for this year’s film competition! Point & Shoot 2022 will be held digitally to keep everyone safe and connected through an online soft launch, theme release, audience choice award voting, live award ceremony and film screenings.
